La la laaaa..

This week has been INSANE. I was off for 3 days sick and when I got back to work it was like that place shut down. I had loads of stuff on my desk and people coming to me left, right and center! I'm so glad it's Friday. Staff is heading out for some beers after work..may be get a little silly!

Part of my morning routine is listening to the new Hot 89.9 (best radio station ever!) and the station owners hired this new consultant and the morning show played some of the voicemails left by him to the staff with "suggestions" All he did was bash the show and say how everything needed to be changed! There's nothing wrong with the show. It makes me laugh every morning and starts my day off on the right foot. He critized everything from people's laughs to commercials! You bet your bottom dollar I sent them an email disclosing how unimpressed I was and my support for the morning team. The had so much feedback from listeners that my response was automatically generated from their blackberries. I really hope there are no drastic changes. It wouldn't be my show if there were!!

Lastly, I watched the VMA's the other night and what Kanye did to Taylor Swift was horrible. Interrupting someone in the middle of their acceptance speech is so wrong. Thankfully, when Beyonce's video won Best Video of the Year, she gave Taylor her moment which was an amazing gesture. I don't get why people think they are above everyone else!

Work..

At work today..not exactly EXTATIC to be here. I have an interview tomorrow, which I'm really excited about because not only are they paying me significantly more, the hours are shorter and it's closer to home! What do y'all think? That's the American in me ;)

My son, Ethan is growing at an alarming rate. He is talking more, making his own decisions and becoming much more independant before my very eyes! He's only 3 and a half, but still! It feels like yesterday I was nursing him and encouraging him to crawl. Crazy how fast time goes by right?

I have to say, I am more in love with Aaron than I though it was possible to love another human being. He makes me smile every day and everything is just falling into place in our relationship. We have gone through alot of difficult times because of his layoff back in January, but we've managed to stick through it all and remain a happy couple. I couldn't me more happy with the man of my dreams. :)
